Special Terms

Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis at the price and interval shown during checkout. Taxes may be calculated based on your location and may be added to the displayed price.

Unless you cancel before the next billing date, your subscription renews automatically. Payment processing is provided through the payment provider shown during checkout, which may appear on your payment statement or receipt.

You can cancel renewal from the Billing page. Cancellation stops future renewal charges; it does not immediately end the current paid period. Your plan remains available until the current period ends unless access is suspended under the Customer Agreement.

Canceling renewal does not automatically create a refund or prorated credit. Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy and applicable law.

A subscription may grant the SharkCoin amount stated on the applicable plan. Each subscription grant belongs to its billing period and expires at the end of that subscription period. Unused Subscription SharkCoin does not roll over into a later period.

Subscription SharkCoin is a usage entitlement for this platform only. It is not money, a deposit, a security, or a transferable property right.

A Recharge is a one-time purchase of additional SharkCoin. Recharge is available only to users with a valid subscription. A Free account must subscribe before purchasing Recharge.

A valid subscription is required only at the time Recharge is purchased. After purchase, Recharge balance may continue to be used while it remains unexpired and available in your balance, even if your subscription later becomes Free, canceled, or expired.

Each Recharge balance is tracked separately and is valid for exactly 90 days from the purchase time. Different Recharge purchases may therefore have different expiration dates. Any remaining balance expires at its own expiration time.

Granted SharkCoin means SharkCoin provided by us without a separate Recharge purchase, including Registration grant, Welcome grant, System grant, Compensation, Promotion grant, and Migration grant balances.

Each Granted balance is tracked separately and is valid for exactly 90 days from the time it is provided, unless a shorter period is stated at the time of the grant. Different grants may therefore have different expiration dates. Any remaining balance expires at its own expiration time.

A negative system adjustment to Granted SharkCoin is applied against Granted balances that expire soonest first. If two Granted balances have the same expiration time, the older balance is adjusted first.

When SharkCoin is consumed, we generally use the balance that expires soonest first. If two balances have the same expiration time, the older balance is used first.

This consumption order applies across Subscription SharkCoin, Recharge balances, and Granted SharkCoin unless a product-specific rule, correction, refund, dispute, or legal requirement requires a different treatment.

SharkCoin cannot be exchanged for cash, withdrawn, transferred, resold, or used to purchase a different plan. Except where required by law or stated in the Refund Policy, Recharge purchases are non-refundable and Granted SharkCoin is not refundable or redeemable for cash.

We may correct, suspend, or remove SharkCoin that was issued in error, obtained through fraud, or associated with a reversed, disputed, or unauthorized payment, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or cannot be verified, we may suspend the related purchase, subscription, or account until the issue is resolved. We are not responsible for bank, card network, payment provider, currency conversion, or payment authentication failures.

You are responsible for taxes and other charges that apply to your purchase, except taxes imposed on our net income. The final amount shown by checkout controls if it differs from an estimate on the pricing page.

Refund requests are governed by the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Special Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

We may change plan prices, SharkCoin amounts, expiration rules, or eligible payment methods for future purchases. We will not change the expiration date of a Recharge or Granted balance that has already been provided except where required to correct an error, address abuse, resolve a payment issue, or comply with law.
